His Ogopa-produced video Number One which cost him approximately 2.5 Million Kenya shillings is already topping the charts.But as we all know, more often than not success is accompanied by controversy.Two Tanzanian artistes have come out to claim rights to this new release asserting that Diamond pulled a fast one on them
According to Bongo 5 the two artistes Dyna Nyange and Baba Levo had been promised a collabo but Diamond made away with Dyana's beat and Levo's chorus

But today i will state openly that Diamond Platnumz stole the chorus to the song I wanted to do with him called ‘sweaty sweaty’ and used it in his new song Number 1.I have come to learn that this were his intentions from the very beginning but life must go on.
